Buy Groceries at Acme or Shoprite and Earn Your Scout 5% Towards Your Scout's Activities!
Troop 295 has a great arrangement with both Acme and Shoprite that can earn your scout 5% of what you spend at either (or both) stores. Just think about your scout earning $5 for scouting activities for every $100 you spend at Acme or Shop-Rite.
How does it work?
Simply purchase Acme or Shop-Rite gift cards through Troop 295 and then use them for your shopping needs. Acme and ShopRite gifts cards are available throughout the year (summer too). When you purchase a gift card, 5% of the gift card amount is credited to the individual Scout account for future activities. So, for every $100 in cards purchased, $5 will go to the Scout account designated. This is a great way to add funds and build up your Scout's account to help pay for camping activities and even summer camp.
Cards are usually available in amounts of $25 or $50 and there is no limit to the amount you can purchase. Please email Tony Tropiano (trop4@verizon.net) to request a specific amount for purchase or see him at one of the weekly meetings. Tony typically has a few hundred dollars in gift cards on-hand with him at scout meetings. However, these can disappear quickly. Please email any larger requests to Tony in advance.
